Hi, I'm Meghann!

I'm a friendly, reliable and knowledgeable Chesterfield-based gardener with a passion for creating outdoor spaces that people can enjoy. I can work with you to create a beautiful garden to suit the needs of you and your family. Or if you already have a garden that you love but need some help with the upkeep, I can maintain your garden with care and attention to detail.

I offer year-round, regular garden maintenance to help you get the most out of your garden. I specialise in environmentally-friendly gardening, drip irrigation system installation, and grow-your-own plots, including the care of fruit trees and bushes.

I hold level 3 RHS certificates in Practical Horticulture; Plant Growth, Health and Applied Propagation; and Garden Planning, Construction and Planting. I worked as an ecologist before becoming a full-time gardener in 2021, and am an avid allotmenteer.

Services and Pricing

Year-round, regular garden maintenance

​

  • Labour charge for new clients: £24.50 per hour (three hours minimum)
     

  • I offer weekly, fortnightly, and 4-weekly visits
     

  • Unfortunately, I am no longer able to offer occasional/ad-hoc services

General garden maintenance tasks
 

  • Planting, pruning, weeding, tidying, and soil amendments
     

  • Mowing, strimming and hedge trimming - I use battery-powered tools, meaning less noise and pollution in your garden
     

  • Tasks are always undertaken at the correct time of year and in appropriate conditions to promote plant and soil health

Specialist services
​

  • Planting designs for permanent and seasonal displays
     

  • Fruit tree pruning and care (tree height up to 3m)
     

  • Drip irrigation system installation - these use 70% less water than hosepipes and are exempt from hosepipe bans. The system can be automated to water your garden even if you aren't at home.
